Alisha Gowen

Alisha Gowen, Clinical Social Worker (CSW), received a bachelor’s degree in Family, Consumer & Human Development and a Master of Social Work degree from Utah State university. She specializes in working with populations impacted by trauma, specifically intimate partner violence and child abuse.  She has experience working in schools to support students and families.  Alisha adheres to a humanistic approach to therapy focused on relationships and growth.  Alisha believes each person has their power within to rise to their full potential.  She advocates for her clients to find their personal power and voice through the therapy.  Alisha is licensed to work with domestic violence issues in a clinical capacity. Alisha utilizes a variety of modalities including Play Therapy, EMDR, CBT, and Mindfulness.  Alisha works with all ages and populations with a special focus on working with children, preteens, and teens.
