Gayla Perkins

Gayla Perkins, Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC) has a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and is a Nationally Board-Certified Counselor. She has experience working with kids, teens, and adults in a wide variety of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, DMDD, domestic violence, life transitions, and relationship challenges. She also has experience working with the LGBTQ population. Gayla is licensed to work with domestic violence issues. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based methods, tailored to the client and their situation, including EMDR, play therapy, ACT, and CBT. She has received additional training in EMDR, EMDR/Sandtray Integration, TF-CBT, and domestic violence. She emphasizes mind/body/spirit wellness and recognizes the relationship between the client the therapist as a powerful agent for change.
