Lara Kravet

Every person has the ability to make choices that can change their future no matter what the past has been. I believe we as people are designed to heal. I help people heal through a variety of therapeutic styles including EMDR, CBT, DBT, Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy and trauma focused practices. My goal is a more holistic approach to mental health treatment which includes connecting the spirit, mind, and body in the healing process.

I work with children, adolescents and adults. I work with families to support the individual client and their family system. My specialties are working with mood disturbances and trauma, and I have worked in mental health on and off for the past twenty years.

I am the mother of six children, who I have learned so much from. I have worked in foster care, substance abuse, neuropsychology, wilderness therapy, residential treatment, and community counseling. Each of these has shaped who I am and how I help people heal.
